1. What’s Lebanese food like?
Lebanese food is typically
Mediterranean. The average meal is high
on vegetables, low on meat and big on
flavor. A meal usually starts with a
mezze, a selection of small portions of
dips, pickles, salads and nibbles eaten
with the Arabic pita bread. Salads
include fattouch and tabbouleh. The main
course is generally grilled meat,
chicken or fish, eaten with bread or
spiced rice and the leftovers of the
mezze. In fact, the mezze are appetizers
that can make a whole meal out of them.
Meals are generally accompanied by wine
or arak.
International food is also widely
available in Lebanon.
2. What type of vehicles do you use
on your tours?
We use modern air-conditioned buses
or mini-vans depending on the group size
for all our tours.
3. What is the best time to travel to
Lebanon?
Lebanon enjoys a moderate
Mediterranean climate. In coastal areas,
winters are generally cool and rainy
whilst summers are hot and humid.
We recommend avoiding July, August and
December as the country is often full to
capacity due to Lebanese emigrants
coming back home to spend holidays with
their families. The heavy road traffic
may cause some inconvenience and delays
to any planned itinerary. During these
periods, it also becomes difficult to
find hotel rooms, and reservations at
restaurants and bars should be made well
in advance.

The country is actually
as safe as the USA, France or the

certain sensitive areas.
In any case, it is always advisable to
check your country’s travel

departure.

required to get an overview of the
